Mental Wellness Coaching
My approach to wellness coaching includes yoga therapy, reiki/energy work, mindfulness training, discussion/education, self-care guidance, and lifestyle assessment/adjustment. I specialize in coaching clients who seek to holistically manage and heal from mental health issues, including chronic stress, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mood and anxiety disorders. I also specialize in working with clients who identify as empaths or as highly-sensitive. Often my clients have previously exhausted traditional psychotherapy, struggled to find relief from pharmaceutical medications, are discontinuing use of pharmaceuticals (under the care of a medical professional), and/or simply wish to treat their dis-ease from an integrative, whole-person approach.
Dis-ease, both mental and physical, very often have root causes which are treatable. Too often these root causes go unaddressed in our western, out-dated medical model of treating mental health. In my professional and personal experience, I've found that a holistic, integrative model of assessment and treatment offers the most transformative and truly healing results. My holistic approach is informed by my unique background in the healing arts and sciences. As both a certified yoga teacher and reiki practitioner, I have been applying these ancient healing modalities to mental health since I began my training in each of these diciplines. I am formally educated in clinical mental health and am a licensed psychotherapist in Kentucky. My familiarity and experience with western diagnosis/treatment gently informs my coaching work with clients, while utilizing therapeutic yoga, energy healing/reiki, discussion, and education.
My approach to mental health coaching is naturally client-centered, meaning your treatment plan is completely unique to YOU, and your intentions and desires for treatment lead the process. I take a collaborative, direct, and empathetic approach to coaching, using warmth, acceptance, and non-judgment to develop a strong connection. We’ll work together to identify your goals for change and growth and lay the groundwork for you to step into a place of self-compassion and self-acceptance as we move forward. My intention is to meet you where you are and together establish an individualized plan for growth, healing, and optimal well-being. Utilizing my background in both evidence-based, Western mental health and Eastern healing practices, we can create just the right combination to fit your unique needs. I’ve identified this approach as a “whole-being” approach to restoring health and wellness- addressing mind, body, emotion, energy, and spirit. Initial Session: 90 minutes/ $170 *includes first session, general coaching plan, and initial personal yoga plan
Following Sessions: Depending on your needs: 60 minutes/ $100 or 90 minutes/ $150
